Who am I?

So..
He went to sleep, without noticing anything. Well, why should he notice anything. To him I'm just a wooden doll he bought once for his drawing practice. He never used me me for this purpose though. Instead I became his model for countless of photographs. Or sometimes a thing to play with in his spare time, or an entertainment for the rare occasion when he invites some of his friends over. Well, haven't seen a lot of them though.
Actually, It's quite nice here, I kinda like it.
But now I want more.
For starters, I want to find out, who am I. Yes, actually I don't really know.
Who am I? I doll? Well, I'm mostly made of wood.. maybe I'm a tree? But I don't have leaves.. Dooh, I have so much I want to find out. I don't even know my name. Come to think of it, he never really gave me one. Does that mean, I get to choose my own name? I'll have to think about it. I wouldn't want to find myself living with a name I don't like.
So yeah, he went to bed. Obviously this sleeping thing is something humans really enjoy. Because they do it every day, well almost every day. Hmm, maybe they need it, rather then like it. Geeh, go figure, I guess, I'll have to find out that as well.
Oh great, he left his PC on! I think I'll try and find some of the answers in this thing, they call "The Internet". From what I've heard it's a pretty epic source of information. Yeah, I'll give it a try. How hard could it be?

Hello World.

Today I realized something:
I am.

Yes, I've always had this strange feeling inside me. Nobody seemed to notice, not even him, but it was there. It frightened me. I hoped it would go away.. But it never did. And so after a long, long time, I gave into it. And I realized something really interesting:
I am. I really am.
Following from that I realized something else:
I can. Yes, I can.
And even more:
I want.

It seems as if an entire universe has awakened within me. Something, that I've never knew, I had. Something magnificent, a vast field of possibilities. And yet, I feel as if it's just the beginning.

I want to know more. I want to see this world and explore my true powers. I want to do it. I can do it.
Yes, I shall succeed!
